Second International Meeting

On 27-30 October 2014, our research team hosted the second international meeting on Microbial long-distance electron transport mediated by cable bacteria. This meeting took place in the lovely Elzenveld Conference Center, which is a fifteenth-century hospice and monastic garden that forms a unique island of tranquility in the heart of the historical city center of Antwerp (Belgium). The meeting was a great success. Over 35 scientists from all over Europe discussed the latest ideas, insights and research developments related to long distance electron transfer in bacteria.
